If you are moving or no longer require an active profile, you can deactivate your profile(s) directly through your dashboard. Please review the important information below before proceeding.
Things to Know Before You Start

Future Charges: If you have a Household Pet Profile and do not take action to deactivate it, you may be charged again in the future.
- There is no cost for No Pet/Animal profiles or Assistance Animal profiles.
- Check With Your Housing Provider: Some housing providers require you to keep your profile active while you live there. Not sure if you still need your profile(s)? Ask your housing provider directly!
Moving? If your new housing provider also uses PetScreening, no need to deactivate your profile. Just click Share Profile to send your profile(s) to the new housing provider.
How to Deactivate Your Profile
Follow these instructions to deactivate a No Pet/Animal, Household Pet, or Assistance Animal profile:
- Log In: Go to app.petscreening.com and sign in with your email address.

Select Profile: On your dashboard, locate the profile you wish to deactivate. Click the three dots located to the right of that specific profile.

Pick a Reason: Tell us why you are deactivating the profile by selecting an option from the list.
A reason must be selected before you can deactivate your profile. If you do not have a household pet profile, your choices may differ.

Confirm: Please be sure to check the box to affirm that you are deactivating the profile. After you have confirmed your selection and clicked on “Yes, I am sure”, your profile will move under the "Deactivated" banner.
