Completing the Vaccinations Section
Please note that Assistance Animal profiles cannot be edited while under review.
- To begin updating your vaccination section, you may need to click the “Edit” button. Please note that if you do not see this edit button, your account is most likely already in edit mode.
- Next, click into the "Vaccinations" section.
- For new profiles, scroll down to the "Vaccinations" section of your profile and click “+Add Vaccinations”.
- If you are editing an existing profile, click the pen icon to the right of the subheader for the "Vaccinations" section.
- Confirm whether your animal has received a Rabies shot or other common vaccines
- If your animal has received a Rabies shot or other common vaccination, be sure to indicate “Yes” to affirm that their vaccinations are up-to-date.
Please note: You may receive the below error message if required information is not received.
Be sure to respond to all of the prompts in the vaccination section.
- Enter the administered date for your animal’s vaccines, and the corresponding expiration date or timeframe.
How To Enter Vaccination Dates
Our system relies on the expiration dates entered into the "Shot Information" fields in your profile.
If the shot information has expired or is not entered in, you will continue to receive notifications, even if the documentation is up-to-date.
1) Click the “+” icon next to the word “Rabies” to update your animal’s vaccination dates:
2) Enter the date of the vaccination.
- To adjust the month or year more easily, you can click the arrows to navigate the calendar. You can type the date in using MM/DD/YYYY format.
- Once administered, vaccinations typically have a known expiration date.
- Example: Rabies vaccinations expire after either 1 year or 3 years . Below the "Vaccination Date," you can select one of the expiration date options available:
3) Include/edit other vaccinations, if preferred.
- Click the drop-down arrow next to the question “Add other vaccines?”
- Clicking the “+” icon next to the vaccine will allow you to enter dates in the same way as the Rabies vaccines before.
Uploading Vaccination Documentation
- Click the drop-down arrow to upload the vaccination document:
- Add proof of vaccination by clicking the blue icon or the “Drag and Drop or Click to Upload” text.
- For new profiles, click “Next” to continue editing the profile.
- For existing profiles, always remember to click the "Publish Changes" button in the top right corner of your profile when you are finished making edits.
- Please Note If “Publish Changes” is not clicked, your changes will not be saved.
